Episode 115: Being Mentally Strong and the Benefits of Private Coaching

In Episode 115, your host Rob Booker is joined by “The Coach” — Scott Welsh, co-creator of the Bossilator course and a peak-performance instructor who resides in Columbus, Ohio. Rob and Scott talk about being under-the-weather and instances of rising to the occasion, refusing to be sick and pushing through whatever needs to be done. This leads to the recounting of the story when Michael Jordan played in the NBA finals with the flu. Scott talks about the importance of becoming mentally strong and this segues into a conversation about the benefits of private coaching. Rob and Scott also take some time to discuss some of the most influential, must-read trading books.

Great show with Scot Welsh, looking forwards to the compounding gains show. Missing TFL tv, but the book list will compensate. I don’t know if you’ve done any shows about traders who have lost everything and come back from the brink mentally stronger but I’m interested in how people can change their mindset. Just read Mark Douglas and now watching his video workshop and now also reading Van Tharps Trade your way to financial Freedom which both look at this subject. Also at the start of your shows there’s a guy who says ”I have rules to protect myself from myself ” I ‘d be interested in which episode this was from (I’ve only been a listener since 90 although I have gone back and listened to several others)
